Apple’s Underdogs launched new video and Meta launched Threads in July 2023. There were big tech moves but none of it really mattered because it’s official, Android is now better than iOS. The month also saw the rise of Instagram’s new rival, Threads that started strong but fizzled out by the end of the month. Meanwhile, Twitter rebranded as X causing a social media commotion.

Goldman Sachs, having troubles, is reportedly ready to part ways with Apple and the Apple Card after losing significant amounts of money since partnering. However, companies like Luxshare are eagerly inking deals with Apple, such as being the sole manufacturer for Vision Pro.

Jony Ive, former head of design at Apple, has taken interest in designing a record player for Scottish audio firm Linn. It’s rumored to be an exquisite and exclusive design.

Amidst all the tech developments, Russia has banned officials from using iPhones and Apple’s “Underdogs” made its return to YouTube with a comedy adventure featuring a stolen MacBook Pro. Apple also had some distractions with reports of subsequent issues with the Vision Pro and a denied parody track ban.

The company admitted to filing hundreds of patent applications related to Vision Pro and released a developer kit in July. With all these developments, it seems that Apple’s Vision Pro is getting real.
