Apple was busy in January. Apple introduced new devices, and an event was expected, but Apple released videos and press releases instead. The HomePod, discontinued previously, also made a comeback with some changes. Additionally, Apple announced AI creation of audiobooks, and the advertising industry wasn’t happy with Apple’s privacy features. Furthermore, Goldman Sachs faced losses due to Apple Card and there were changes in Apple’s worldwide services. Finally, Apple introduced a crash detection feature. Unfortunately, there were many layoffs in various tech companies but Apple’s retail and recruitment departments have been relatively unaffected. Finally, Tim Cook decided to cut his next year’s salary by 40%.
