Vision Pro outpaces AirTags 2 in the race towards innovation

Apple Vision Pro

As the time for preordering Apple Vision Pro gets ever closer, one AppleInsider podcast host has decided to go for it — and the other wishes he were in the right country to try it out.

Apple Vision Pro just suddenly seems more real and exciting as we are at last only days away from pre-orders. Plus developers of productivity apps are starting to reveal what they will have available on day one, so it’s feeling as if this is going to be big.

There’s certainly enough reason — or it possibly should be called excuse — for Wes Hilliard to plan to buy one. He’s heading to Nashville to pick up a Vision Pro and presumably take in a show too.

William Gallagher won’t be doing either, since Vision Pro isn’t coming to the UK just yet. But he’s using the time to save up.

Meanwhile, it’s all about what is yet to come — such as AirTags 2 in 2025 and, perhaps, extremely costly OLED iPad in the nearer future. But then right now there is a new iPhone accessory called Clicks which fits a real, physical keyboard to the phone.

It’s all happening and some of it is physical, some of it is virtual, a bit of it is yellow, on the AppleInsider Podcast.
