1 min read

The M3 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro has a smaller footprint and a lower price compared to the larger models. The latest lineup includes the M3 Pro and M3 Max alongside the M3, with the 14-inch MacBook Pro being the middle-tier option. The design remains largely the same as the previous model, with only minor changes such as the addition of the new Space Black color. The display features a mini-LED display with a resolution of 3,024 by 1,964 and a pixel density of 254, as well as True Tone, P3 Wide Color gamut, and ProMotion support. The speakers and microphones are unchanged and remain the same. The ports include MagSafe 3, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a high-impedance headphone jack on the left side, and a Thunderbolt 4 port, an SDXC card reader, and an HDMI 2.0 port on the right side. The M3 Pro model tested showed improvements in single-core benchmarks compared to the previous model, with a new AV1 decoder, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and a next-generation GPU architecture. The performance improvements are in line with expectations.
