Apple opened its 100th store in the Asia-Pacific region in the Hongdae neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea. This is the seventh Apple store in Seoul.

Customers visiting the store got to engage in various activities, including a limited Pop-Up Studio with hip-hop artist Beenzino, and a session with Freeform on iPad to create vision boards for 2024.

The store, strategically located in a university neighborhood, has launch specials focused on education, where students can get free AirPods or an Apple Pencil with the purchase of a Mac or iPad, respectively.

The opening of the store attracted a large queue and customers were seen making purchases and checking out products, with one customer proudly displaying his “swag” from the opening.

Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail, expressed excitement about the new store, stating that it combines the latest Apple technology with the creative passion of the local community.
